A phone photography gratitude practice, designed as a mood-boosting creative team activity.
Over 4 weekly sessions (and the days in between), participants at ICS Accounting used photography skills to create daily photos of aspects of their life that they felt an appreciation for.
This collection of images is the culmination of our time together and represents the vast array of these moments of appreciation, experienced and captured, as well as some of the images created within the sessions.
A few participants have also provided a favourite 'feature' image.
A Moment of Calm
This was taken from the Packet Bridge at Bolton-le-Sands.
I was feeling stressed and rushing about to the shops. My heart was racing, so I took a moment to stop and noticed this beautiful view.
I was grateful for this moment of peace.

Locked Out
This is the Central Market in Krakow, Poland.
It was 1am and I was locked out of my Air B&B!
Despite help from the owners, I had to get temporary accommodation for the night.
My glasses were inside the locked room and I only had my contact lenses in. I was trying to find somewhere that would sell lens solution when I noticed this beautiful scene.
It was worth getting locked out, to have this quiet moment in the city.

Boats and Bribes
We love to do this easy family walk at the Wyre Estuary.
My 2-year-old daughter loves seeing the boats and jumping in puddles.
On this occasion, she didn't want to turn around and head home, so we had to bribe her with the promise of seeing horses on the way.

Whitby by Night
We took Dad to Whitby for a trip down memory lane, as it's somewhere he'd taken us as children.
We'd had a lovely relaxing day on the beach on Dad's birthday. We were really looking forward to fish and chips for tea, but hadn't realised that all the chip places close at 8.30pm!
Thankfully we found a lovely Turkish restaurant with wonderful staff, then strolled home and saw this gorgeous view.
